  • 1 tube (13.8 ounces) pizza dough
  • 5 cups water
  • ¼ cup baking soda
  • 1 large egg (beaten)
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Roll out the pizza dough into a rectangle, about ¼-inch thick.
  3. Cut the dough into 15 strips and wrap each strip around a sausage frank, pinching the ends to seal.
  4. In a saucepan, bring water to a boil and dissolve baking soda. Boil each wrapped sausage for 20-30 seconds.
