  • 1/2 medium onion (chopped)
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1/4 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 (14-ounce) can diced tomatoes (with juices)
  • 1/3 cup chicken or beef broth
  • 3/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1 pound uncooked potato gnocchi
  • 1/2 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
  • Salt & pepper (to taste)

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef and onion in a skillet over medium-high heat for about 7-10 minutes, draining excess fat if necessary.
  2. Stir in minced garlic and Italian seasoning, cooking until fragrant.
  3. Add diced tomatoes, broth, heavy cream, and uncooked gnocchi to the skillet. Stir well, cover, and reduce heat to medium; cook for about 5 minutes.
  4. Uncover and stir again; continue cooking until the gnocchi is soft and sauce thickens to your liking.
  5. Stir in parmesan cheese along with salt and pepper to taste. Serve immediately.
