  • 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 ½ cups chocolate chips
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 9×13” baking pan with foil, spraying it lightly with cooking spray.
  2. In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat until browned; cool for about 5 minutes.
  3. In an electric mixer, combine the melted butter and sugars until mixed well. Let cool slightly.
  4. Whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl. Gradually add to the butter-sugar mixture along with eggs and vanilla until just combined; fold in chocolate chips.
  5. Press half of the dough into the pan evenly. Pour sweetened condensed milk over it and sprinkle with chocolate pieces before adding remaining dough on top.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown; let cool completely before slicing into bars.
