  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 1 can refrigerated biscuit dough (8 biscuits)
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Prepare the apple filling: Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Add apples, sugar, and cinnamon; cook for 4-5 minutes until softened. Mix cornstarch with water and stir into the apple mixture; cook until thickened.
  2. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  3. Separate biscuit dough into individual biscuits and flatten each one to about 1/4-inch thick.
  4. Place about one tablespoon of cooled apple filling on each biscuit, fold edges over filling, and pinch tightly to seal.
  5. Dip each bomb in melted butter then roll in a mixture of sugar and cinnamon.
  6. Place seam-side down on the baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Let cool slightly before serving warm.
